"So lucky to have the chance to stay at this beautiful place!  Stunning decor, breath taking interiors, every comfort you could need, a cosy snug with a lovely fireplace for cool evenings, a beautiful sheltered courtyard garden - a perfect place to live the dream!  It’s a couple of minutes walk to the main square in the Historic Centre with its little shops and bars - great coffees and aperitivos - and no more than 10 mins walk to a bigger supermarket.  The beaches are a 15 minute drive away.  Can’t think of a better place to stay - either for peace and quiet or equally for a fun and lively gathering of friends and family.  I want to go back!"

Information

Plazzo Cairney is in the historic centre of Nardò, in the province of Lecce in the South of Puglia (Salento).  The area is famous for its food, wine, warm hospitality and beautiful beaches with crystalline water and Nardò is no exception.

Close to the Palazzo there is a wealth of Baroque architecture, cafes restaurants and bars with a selection of beaches within a 10 minutes drive. 

​

Lively but still unspoilt, Nardò is an excellent base for exploring the area – Lecce and Gallipoli are 20 minutes away by car, Brindisi airport 40 minutes. Scroll down to links to articles about the area. Palazzo is in the heart of Nardo's historical center, 5 minutes walk from the main square with its cafes and restaurants.

The House

The house was fully renovated in 2018 to an exacting standard and can only be booked for exclusive use. 

​

Comprising three double bedrooms, a spacious and tranquil lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, an outside courtyard for relaxing, entertaining and sunbathing, a separate bathroom with sunken bath and a study for reading and chilling out.
